Starlight ChatI just want to take a moment to say I apologize to anyone who has been following my posts as of late on my blog. This year has been a trying year for me with somethings. I’m not normally the person to bring up my issues with possible others openly like I have recently so I do apologize.
With the new year coming….I say out with the old and in with the new.
Meaning I’ll be moving past the old issues…and looking to hopefully make this new coming year a better one.
Not sure when I’ll get to post to my blog next so I’m doing this now so its just in time for everyone to read.

I recently rented the movie Tokyo Raiders from Netflix. The movie itself is just ok to me. This is the one time I think they needed to not do so much slow motion action to a fight scene. It kind of killed it for me with so much of it happening. I mean there was one fight scene that was pretty good but to much of the slowed up action. To me I like the fast paced in your face action style. Here is the fight scene clip I was talking about I managed to find it on YouTube.

Anyway as I said the movie was ok but could have been way better. I really wouldn’t recommend seeing it unless your bored or like this style of movies 
Most of you know me as not big on buying from Ebay. I have never really had any interest. Although as of late I have purchased 2 movies from the site along with a playstation 2 game.
My recent purchase was a movie I watched a long long time ago that I never could find on DVD. In fact I thought it would never make it to DVD. I did my searching around a year or two ago and nothing just VHS. Well about 2 weeks ago I figured what could I hurt? So I typed in the movie Class of 1999 DVD on Ebay and WHAM! it was there. I was a bit scared to purchase it considering it was a import. Not sure if it would even work on my DVD player and such. I read it over and debated for a day or two but finally just said oh what the hell its only $10.00. Or well a 2 cents cheaper then $10.00 but regardless its not that big of a loss. So I took the chance.
The DVD arrived today and wow I was very impressed. Shipment was good and the DVD worked perfectly. I can’t ask for anything more.
Anyway the movie Class of 1999 is not the best movie in the world. In fact I would probably tell you it’s not worth the buy. It’s a B-Rated cheesey sci-fi horror. But I like the movie personally. So it was a must have for me when I seen I could get it. What’s this movie about? Well…….
The time is the future, and youth gang violence is so prevalent that the areas around some schools have become “free-fire zones,” into which the police won’t even venture. But when the school principal (Malcolm McDowell) decides to take his school back from the gangs, a robotic specialist (Stacy Keach) provides him with a plan.
There you have it The movie has some decent sci-fi action involved that got me liking the movie. So that is why I ultimately broke down and bought it. Would I recommend though as I said? Nah not unless you like that style of movies or have seen it yourself and enjoyed it. Other wise don’t worry about it. I tried searching for a trailer for it however could not find it but I found this music video made by someone on YouTube that has clips of the movie. So here it is….enjoy……

Man! I can’t wait to see sequel to Hellboy!
Hellboy II: The Golden Army looks awesome from the teaser clip shown above. Looks just as good as the first with all the right action and little humor of course I am sure mixed in. I’ll definitely go see this one in the theatre since I did not see the first because I really didn’t think the movie would have been that good. I sure was wrong.
Ahhh I have been waiting on when the movie War (2007) comes out onto DVD since seeing the movie. The movie of course stars Jason Statham and Jet Li which is about An FBI Agent who seeks vengeance on a mysterious assassin known as “Rogue” who murdered his partner.
If your a Jason Statham and Jet Li fan then this is a must see movie. Great action and a nice twist a the end. I definitely recommend seeing this movie. The DVD is being released on January 1st 2008. I can’t wait!
I know I have not been posting like I had before again. I been pretty busy as of late offline do to the holidays. Helping with things and doing some of those last minute shopping deals that I always end up doing. I never know what to get anyone…..
