Well good news finally is slowly coming my way from what I was told from www.paypal.com. They told me that if the one that tried to rip me off of a good amount of money does not show a transaction # of the item being shipped that I would get a full refund so ahhh I am happy regarding that!
I am giving something new a try. I saw a ad on tv for a phone setup offer. It’s called MagicJack. Which can be located at www.magicjack.com. While the only close number area I can get for a phone number is in Lancaster Ohio. At least that is close to me it should in theory still work without an extra charge. What is the best thing about this offer? Well it says for only $19.95 a year….yes a Year! I can get a number that will work through my broadband connection. With this I can even make long distance calls. So no more phone cards for me! *LOL*. This service also says it comes with caller ID and Voice Mail. Hey for only $19.95 a year I’ll give it a shot. What is the worst thing that could happen? It not work right? Oh well you won’t hear me bitch to much. If it was a montly payment well and it sucked then I would definitely drop them. So anyway I’m looking forward to trying this thing out. I’ll post my thoughts once I get the software/hardware to get things setup. I purchased it this past saturday. Yes its $39.95 plus shipping of $6.95 but that also covers your first year with them. I’m in no way mentioning this as a way to say go out and buy it because again I have not tried it. Once I do I will as I said post my thoughts about it.
MagicJack rates for calls to phones outside the U.S. and Canada vary from 2 cents per minute to landlines in the U.K., Germany, and France up to $1.21 per minute to Antarctica, according to a list posted by YMax, MagicJack’s parent company. Service to these countries at these rates will reportedly begin in early 2008. If the international party you are calling also has a MagicJack, the call is free.
MagicJack features include:
• Free directory assistance using the Free411 Web site
• Free 911 service in the United States (you enter your physical address once, which you can change at any time);
• Free voicemail (even if your computer is off)
• Free call forwarding to your cell phone or any other phone.
The 911 service requires not only that you enter your current address, but also (as with any MagicJack call) that you have power and a working Internet connection so you can dial the number.
If you use Microsoft Outlook, you can also download a plug-in that adds a toolbar to that program for one-click dialing of a selected contact
